About o.a.s.i.s.

Orthopaedic and Sports Injury Services (O.A.S.I.S.) opened in 1991 in Matsqui Recreation Centre in Abbotsford. This location has distinguished O.A.S.I.S. from other physiotherapy clinics in the community offering programs to patients utilizing the swimming pool, whirlpool and weight room for physical rehabilitation. The Abbotsford clinic remains located in the recreation centre and a second clinic was opened in Langley in October 2006. Both clinics provide assessment, treatment and education of orthopaedic, daily living and sports related injuries as well as work-related WCB and ICBC claims.

O.A.S.I.S Physiotherapists

Registered Physiotherapists
with an active approach to rehabilitation

O.A.S.I.S. physiotherapists are graduates of recognized university-based physiotherapy programs. They are licensed by the College of Physical Therapists of BC and maintain a rigorous code of ethics and high standards of continuing competency. These medical professionals have an advanced understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Staff work with patients to evaluate and restore strength, endurance, movement and physical abilities affected by injury, disease, disability or surgery. Staff identify patient treatment goals, establish and implement individualized treatment, prescribe exercise and education, and encourage patients to understand and assume responsibility for increasing their body’s function.
